It was something to not miss during my holiday, the concert of Kate Ryan and as guest star Robert Ramirez, one of the spanish artists of the moment. Starting at 22h yesterday night, well I should say normally, but at the end, Robert Ramirez came out on the stage around 22h30. First may be you want to know who is this guy ??? Have you heard the song “sick of love” !!! This is him, the guy is not yet famous but with this song, he won a great popularity in Spain this year. Born at Paris from a spanish family and living at Madrid right now, he was contracted to write and to composed this song for a spanish joke program called “El club del chiste”, the song made a hit and this was how he started again his career. |
Yes, restarted it because his first attempt to be a singer was in 1991 but things went wrong so instead to write for him, he started to compose for other spanish artists and TV programs. So if you never heard him, here it is your chance and for our great pleasure, he performed in live his new song, here you go.
Singing only 3 songs (the last one was a remix of his hit) before leaving the scene, us (me and my girlfriend) and other people were waiting until 23h30 before to see Kate Ryan all in black outfit, meanwhile, the scene was animated by the DJ Tony Aguilar.
Starting with her song “libertine”, the whole concert was very great with a great ambiance but like anything good thing has an end, the concert ended around 00h50 but before to close this topic, let’s me resume the event first.
Do I need to say something about her ??? OK very quick for people who don’t know her. Her real name is Katrien Verbeeck and she is a belgian girl who started her career on 2001. Her style is dance pop in which majority of her songs are covers of hits by other artists like Mylène Farmer for the song "désenchantée”, Desireless for “voyage, voyage”…

Now back to the concert, unfortunately during 1h20, she was not able to sing all her hits but at least the best ones. On the other hand, for the less famous ones, she did a remix so we were able to listen some extracts. After all, I can say that she tried to sing all her songs during this limited time and she did it very great.
Moreover, she said some spanish words which pleased to all spanish people. In the middle of the show, she left the stage letting her band playing alone. After few minutes, she came back but without her jacket, so we could see what she wore under it during the first part, black body shaper and black tights, a very sexy dress.

Around 00h30, they left the scene but as people was screaming “otra, otra, otra” (more, more, more), they came back few minutes later to sing 2 more songs but not before to throw to the public some little green neon tube. Imagine now, people rushing to get one, I didn’t dare to move an inch !!! Around 00h50, end of the concert, the band saying goodbye to his public and us, we just cheered and clapped our hands for this great moment.
