A tragic tragedy happened during the day of the black friday. An employee has been trampled until death by the crowd who rushed inside the shop Walt Mart. The Long Island store is located in Valley Stream at NY and 4 other people, including a woman pregnant of 8 months, have been hospitalized.

In this kind of condition, I am sure that it was not worth to be the first to get the products. After all, a life is much more precious and important than any kinds of materials.

Why they don’t anticipate something which seemed apparent ?

It is very a shame that in our century and with the technology we have that such kind of incident, which can be prevented easily and predicted, happens and only at this moment, companies start to take actions by improving and reinforcing their measures of security.

But above all, it must be people like us who have to take conscience of this event to not repeat it in the future because after all, we have our part of responsibility in this tragic incident.

Black friday after Thanksgiving

Why we don’t have that in Europe ??? A special shopping day to announce the beginning of the christmas season. Neither we have a similar day or event during the year which can be defined like “black friday”. When I read on the news that people who live in US can buy a TV Plasma 42" 1080i for only $499 at Meijer, only $499 !!! I envy you guys !!! I would wish to find this kind of TV for this price in Europe, more precisely in Spain and much more precisely at Barcelona but it is not the case. For european people who don’t know what is it the black friday, here an explanation. First at all, black friday is not an official holiday, neither a bank

holiday or something like that, it is just a normal day but majority of american people take the day off. It is the friday after Thanksgiving which announces the beginning of the traditional christmas shopping season and the date is between november, 23rd and 29th. In fact, the last friday of this month (for example, this year is november, 28th).

Most of the companies like Best Buy, Circuit City... see it as a great potential to increase their benefits and so, they make good, but very good offers to customers. That’s why I can see at Sears a LCD TV 42" 1080p for $699 !!! or at Microcenter a LCD TV 32" 1080p for $399 !!!

But do you know that the term “black Friday” was born in 1965 from the Philadelphia Police Department. With this simple term, they wanted to describe the massive traffic jams and the chaos in the street they lived during this shopping day in center city. And only from 1975, that this term will extend to the other states and be famous forever.

I wish to be at NY, LA or even Chicago... well somewhere in US to buy stuffs but not this year... snifff... And I have no friends who go there or family who will come to visit me...

If not maybe I will ask them to buy a home-theater system Sony with DVD player and 1080p upconversion for $249 at Sears or at Circuit City, a home-theater system 7.1 Onkyo for $399. Some blu-ray discs on which the price is between $8.99, $11.99 and $17.99 (here in Europe, the normal price is between 25€ and 30€ and they will not lower so easily).

Why I don’t have this kind of day here !!! Why !!! I am going to play at my PS3 to console me and to wish luckiest persons to buy a lot of things in my place. If you need to find out where to go and which products worth to buy, check bfads.net
