Motorola continues with its concept to create mobile phones which own a beautiful and innovative design and it is how Aura came in the market. You can have it for $2000 !!! True it is very beautiful, more than its ancestor V70. I don’t know if you remember this model but me, I bought it 10 years ago because I liked it a lot its design and the concept of the rotating clamshell. Even if I was rich, I don’t think that I am going to buy Aura because it doesn’t integrate all new technologies that I get used with a blackberry or with a smartphone. It doesn’t have neither some diamonds, emeralds... so don’t need to go to a jewelry so why it costs so expensive ??? |
Well simple, maybe not, it is because of the materials – it has:
- a lens created from 62-carat sapphire crystal which is one of the most scratch resistant materials on earth
- a circular display with 16 million colors and 300 dpi resolution
- gears engineered from Rockwell 50-55 hardened steel and safeguarded coating
- a keypad in aluminum

The stainless steel blade rotates out using a custom mechanism of Swiss-engineered gears and 130 precision ball bearings. Additionally, nickel-chrome plated screws and laser welds hold together the stainless steel housing.
