The earth element is the most stable of the 5 elements because it represents everything (mountain, desert, cave, forest…) and it produces a lot of things (wood, brick, food, fruit…) - for every living, it means simply home. This dry and cold element is associated with the yin and the feminine nature which is considered receptive and passive but it also represents strength, resourcefulness, abundance, stability, reliability and ability due to its virtue of solidness.
