Asus new EEE PC models

I went to the FNAC last week to buy some books. In fact I went with my girlfriend and she bought me those books like present. And meanwhile I was walking in the computer department, something caught my eyes. New Asus macro laptops called EEE PC models with a starting price from 229 € to 500 €. For all models, you can select with which system you want, between linux or windows xp. Very little, they weigh around 1 kg and the autonomy from 2h to 7h following the model. Those macro laptops have everything except they dont have any driver (CD, DVD) but the most important is

not the driver since you can plug an external one (not included) via the USB but the autonomy. If you buy the higher model, the 1000 serie, the autonomy is around 7h and the price is between 450 € and 500 €. The basic model has only around 2h of autonomy.

Of course, this kind of laptop is not for playing games since the card graphic is not enough powerful. Neither it uses to be like a PC, i mean if you buy it and you are going to put it on your table without moving it, it is not worth since the 7" screen is too small and you will have to buy a bigger external screen. No, this laptop is for people who will use it for work and who moves a lot.
